Prairie Kitchens Cooking School was set up in the year 1989 and since then they have been dedicated to teach cooking to the culinary aspirants aiming to become chefs, cooks, and bakers. Some students also become the cookbook authors. By the end of program, students learn essential cooking recipies and techniques. They are made to learn classical and traditional cooking methods using freshest of ingredients. Students learn cooking skills and professional skills that are required at the time of their interview.

The cooking classes help students to learn from the very initial stages of cooking. They are being taught about the elementary of knife cutting to latest and innovative styles of cooking. They encourage students to participate and interact in the social aspects of cooking. There are custom designed classes and the class room size is kept small with every 12 students for 1 teacher. Students get recipies and instructions in the kitchen to prepare the cuisines. They learn to cook variety of cuisines from all parts of the world and vegetarian dishes. The school provides unique learning experience to their students. They learn from designing of menu, preparing meal, and decorating meal. The school is located at several locations allowing students to look for the nearest. The cost of the program ranges from $50-55 for a three hour class.
